Romans 8:38-39, “For I am sure that neither death nor life, nor angels nor rulers, nor things present nor things to come, nor powers, nor height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God in Christ Jesus our Lord.”
Paul wrote these words as inspired by the Holy Spirit that his readers feel secure in the fact that God loves them. He goes from birth to death to include everyone that we will encounter in this life. From parents to pastors, bosses and leaders, Paul asserts that nothing whether on earth or in heaven, could ever stop God from loving us.
Think about it, even in its ugliness and injustice, the marks of a criminal lined our Savior as He was placed on a cross to die for sin that was not His own. For a people that He was yet to know. That’s love!
Can you not see how beautiful that is? “God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us.”
If no one has told you today, “YOU are loved.” Nothing on earth or in heaven could ever stop Jesus from loving you. Be confident in that!
